This is one of the major perks of staying with us at Reeds on the River. You can fish right outside the front door of your cabins! Try your hand at fly fishing, walleye fishing, and from the third week in June through August you’ll even have a chance at spotting a Lake Sturgeon! We have a rich area for fishing enthusiasts and if you simply ask around with the locals, each one will have a brand new spot for you to try.

Come cast out off shore in front of the locks before the boaters start making their way through! We’ve caught smallmouth, largemouth, rock bass, and the occasional pike here! Located right next door to our Alanson area cabin and cottage!
