Our family welcomes you and yours to Reed’s on the River. Your cabin will be amongst willow and cedar trees and is located directly on the Sturgeon River in Indian River, Michigan.
The resort offers seven original cabins built in the early 1940’s. The Cabins are 100% remodeled with new electric, plumbing, and furnishings. Heaters in both bedrooms and bathrooms will keep you warm. All of our cabins are cozy, comfortable, well equipped and, most importantly, exceptionally clean. Living rooms provide an e-z glider sofa that lays down into a full bed, chair and smart TVs. We have internet available at all cabins. We provide ceiling fans in the living room and bedrooms for your primary source of cooling during summer months. We do not have air conditioning in the cabins.
Cabins 1, 4, 5, 6, and 7 will have full kitchens with 4 burner stove top, oven, and refrigerator. Cabins 2 and 3 will have kitchenettes with an induction burner and refrigerator.
Each cabin has 2 bedrooms, with queen mattresses with a 5 star rated mattress and memory foam pillows. Please note that cabins 1 , 4, 5, 6, and 7 have more square footage and should be considered for those families needing space for 6 guests. Each cabin has one full bathroom with a shower.
Each cabin has its own picnic table or outdoor dining table on the porch, fire pit, and your own charcoal grill. We have charcoal, lighter fluid, firewood, etc. available at the camp store. We keep our resort cabins clean and well maintained. You can fish outside the front door of your cabin!
