It’s a must-visit attraction that’s conveniently close to our cabins.

In addition to a wonderful sandy beach, the Petoskey State Park offers hiking trails, restrooms, biking on interior roads, picnic facilities, sand volleyball courts and a small playground. A concession stand is open (limited hours) during the summer.
Kayaks, paddleboards and bikes are available for rent.
Located between Petoskey and Harbor Springs. Admission is charged.

2. STURGEON BAY BEACH

Three miles of sandy beach and gorgeous views. Sand dunes for exploring. Port-o-johns, but no restrooms. Approximately four miles to Legs Inn restaurant.

Burt Lake State Park, located just a few minutes from Reed’s on the River, boasts a beautiful sandy beach perfect for a day of sun and fun. The park’s scenic beauty and recreational opportunities provide a perfect complement to your stay with us.
